Hi, I'm Matt.

Chances are you've never heard of me... and that's the way I like it. I've never been one that's needed or wanted the limelight. At school I was the drummer in the band - the guy in the background that gave a steady and consistent beat for others to follow. That's the way I like to lead… it’s about process and outcome, not ego.

My life changed forever when I was 19, after two surgeons removed a 17cm tumour from my spine and chest. That was the moment I stopped following the crowd and wandering aimlessly, and decided to lead. I've travelled the world. Spent time hanging around and studying remarkable people. I've toured Australia with my rock band.

I was the CEO of a non-for-profit ‘yLead’, and delivered innovative personal development experiences to hundreds of thousands throughout Australia and around the world. I've climbed Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania 13 times and led hundreds to the summit. I've led groups across the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea. I've presented at national and multinational conferences, rubbing shoulders with some of the most inspiring leaders on the planet.

I spent five years at Domino’s Pizza Enterprises - the largest Master Franchise for Domino’s Pizza outside of the USA. During my tenure, my team and I were responsible for rolling out a new Purpose & Values, guiding a 100,000+ strong frontline team through the pandemic, developing and rolling out a Global People Development Strategy, spearheading the digitalisation of learning and training programs, orchestrating the design and global rollout of Path to Excellence – DPE’s cutting edge Learning Management System, implementing a Global OKR Program, and dreaming up and hosting inspiring virtual and in-person events to thousands of ‘Dominoids'.

I believe in people. I love to engage, inspire and empower them to reach their full potential. I shape strategy and facilitate experiences that challenge the way people think, and influence the way they behave with the belief they will channel what they discover to positively impact their world. I am driven by the passion to ignite that spark within individuals and teams to realise their potential and supercharge performance. Whether it's crafting strategy, delivering programs, or facilitating transformative experiences, I'm all in.

Ultimately - I want people to live a life and do work that fulfils them, and that leaves their world in a better place than they found it.
